What paradigms should we use to understand wikis and use them most effectively?
- Wikis represent a from of read-write web-based hypertext
- Like other forms of hypertext, wikis can emphasize (a) intended and unintended collaboration, (b) multiple points of view, (c) indefintely expanable or extendable documents, (d) and therefore always changing documents, (e) open or soft-bordered documents
- As a kind of hypertext, it can take the form of many hypertext genres.
